Went to KOA: There...
am i missing something?
You ever walk into a store and think, wait... who is this for?
It’s not bad. not offensive. It’s just… there.
Honestly? maybe even a little confusing. (I’ll get to that.)
After walking around once and looping twice past the mannequin with the slouchy hat and the tag hanging out. I concluded there is nothing loud about the store.
The mannequins look like they are waiting for a bus. Honestly, where is the drama and the styling? You can tell someone made choices but its giving ‘ran out of time’ in Dress to Impress. Why is it standing there and staring at me? Help.

I know, i know clothes look different on camera. But retail has so much space to make a case for a skirt. a belt? a bag? a bracelet? anything???
Styling? Zero Points.
Everything is wearable. Technically.
There are jeans. There are boxy t-shirts. There are button-downs that would definitely pass as business casual. The colors are safe and neatly put in their section of the store. The silhouettes; I have seen before. The fabric choices are also alright (though i wish they put fabric composition in their labels).

Its functional? It works? Maybe that’s their customer too.
Now credit where credit is due: their new collection — Art board 01.
The boxy graphic tees? Love <3 . Different customer base than the rest of the store? Sure but its cute honestly.

Now the confusing bit…
What is there a whole Inglot shoved in the store? So many questions. But ultimately, to me, it feels misplaced. Why is there a whole makeup section crammed in the corner like its grounded? Looks like a pop-up store that is abandoned. And sorry in advance, this paragraph is going to ramble (like my brain did inside the store):
why are there tags saying nL in there (of accessories mostly). yes, i get it, it’s nishatlinen but why is this setup giving “let’s make the space look full.”
Overall, the online experience is way cooler. Website is clean. Love their campaigns. Newer one In-Transit is super fun too.
But retail? My mind was in a daze. Nothing made me want to try things on. The mannequins looked like they wanted to be styled. Everything just… existed.
….hanging. waiting. aggressively okay.
